Youth Ministry

Our youth ministry exists to minister to the spiritual lives of teenagers both in our church and in our community. It is our goal to do this by connecting teens with each other, with the church, and with God.

Weekly Youth Meeting - Ignite, Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30pm

Ignite is our weekly youth meeting centered around small groups and an intentional mentoring relationship. Each week provides an opportunity to join in an open dialogue with an adult leader about various aspects of faith, equipping you for the ups and downs of life. Conversation, a team-building game, and time to just hang out with friends are part of every week.

Special Events - Charge

Charge is a once-a-month fun event on Wednesday evening from 6:30-8:30pm intended to spark an interest in teens in our community, encouraging them to come out to the mid-week Ignite. These giant event nights are different every month and include everything from game tournaments to giant water balloon fights to movies and more. Check us out and get a taste of what it would be like to be part of our youth ministry.

Service Projects - Explode

Explode is an opportunity to engage in intentional service projects, providing teens with a way to live out their faith in meaningul ways in our community. Together we can make a significant impact in our commmunity, whether in support of community organizations like the Sussex Prenancy Care Centre, through serving our seniors at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, or moving outside of Sussex to organizations like Outflow in Saint John.
